About Us
Nicole Yarling, Jim Gaisor, Wendy Pedersen, Stephen Scott, and Rita Quintero founded the Jazz Educators Community Coalition (JECC) in August 2013 to provide young musicians interested in Jazz performance a workshop to develop their skills.
The program found its home at WDNA when station manager Maggie Pelleya offered access to the WDNA studio for the workshop and supported the JECC with radio and print promotion.

Donations
The JECC program is designed to make more than just music, we make a difference in the lives of aspiring musicians from all social and economic backgrounds.
The JECC program is supported by student donations ($5/session) as well as performance fees, grants and individual donations. If you would like to support the JECC with an individual contribution, we accept cash, check and credit card contributions.
